The Local Area
The famous coves and villages of the NE coast are all within a short drive away – Yaliskari or Chouchoulio (our favourites) for bathing and of course Agni for eating! Avlaki which is visible from Loukia is a stunning, white pebble cove that has the advantage of a regular cooling breeze for the sunworshipers but also providing a great cove for the windsurfers and sailors. It is only a 5 minute drive from Loukia.

Most water sports are available in the area from scuba diving to wake boarding. Kassiopi offers many boat trips and excursions. Horse riding is also available on the Avlaki peninsula.

Conveniently, Nikos Supermarket is located just 1km away from Loukia on the coast road. Nikos, his wife Lea and daughter Maria will endeavour to get almost anything you need for your holiday and will also deliver!
There are so many restaurant s and tavernas to suit all budgets in the area it is hard to just point out a few – you really are spoiled for choice!
Out of Season
Corfu is not just about sun and swimming. It is also a beautiful destination out of season. The views below were taken from Villa Loukia in March 08 looking across to the snow cappped mountains of Albania.
