The front door of Villa Loukia leads into a light and airy open-plan living area that was extended at the end of 2015.  Between 2015 and 2020 the whole villa has been upgraded and remodelled to a very high standard.  The sitting room is now dominated by a large 'picture window', which pulls the wonderful view across the bay of Avlaki and onwards to Albania, into the room. We are determined to keep Villa Loukia up-to-date and in the best possible condition for your holiday.

The sitting room  has two large sofas, a feature fire place and an armchair.  There is a Bose Music System complete with i-Pod/i-Phone docking system, LCD TV with Greek satellite connection including some international channels, DVD player and DVD library.  There is a well stocked games cupboard too.   Wi-Fi is also available free of charge. As with all rooms in the house, there are European and UK 3-pin sockets complete with USB sockets.

The indoor dining area has a large reclaimed teak table next to the new feature 'glass wall' that makes the most of the stunning view to Albania.  Above the table is a ceiling fan and doors onto the veranda leading to the pool.

There is a fabulous guest washroom leading off the living room, complete with w.c., basin,  washing machine, ironing board, iron etc.
A further set of French windows lead off the kitchen onto the large terrace running along the front of the house.  The Orange Bedroom  also leads off the living room and stairs lead to the Blue Bedroom and Master Bedroom.

The kitchen was also completely remodelled in recent years.  All new appliances were fitted;  multi-function oven, hob, microwave/grill, dishwasher and a huge American Style fridge complete with filtered water and automatic ice.  The kitchen is well equipped, right down to the Sebatier knives.   There is also ample work space on the new granite worktop.   It really is a  lovely space to cook in and will be much appreciated by those of you who enjoy being 'Chef' on holiday.  

Upstairs there are two bedrooms.  The master suite is now a very luxurious, large room with an equally lovely en-suite bathroom complete with bath tub, separate shower, basin on marble stand and heated mirror.  The master bed is super king size  and there is a sofa/single bed in this room too for small children.  This room has its own Bose music system which you can run using Bluetooth from your own playlists on your mobile phone.  Upstairs there is second twin/double  bedroom and en-suite bathroom  and as with the master, there are double doors on to the large upstairs terrace.    Downstairs is the third twin/double bedroom with en-suite bathroom  This room has its own charm and views over the garden and sea beyond, and with easy access to the pool area.  

Although Villa Loukia is a 3 bedroom house sleeping 6 we can also accommodate infants in a travel cot, young children in the spare single bed in the master bedroom and we have a double sofa bed in the living room for an extra adult couple.

Many guests comment on our attention to detail and the fact that Villa Loukia does feel like a home. It has 'soul' and everything you need; two things so often missing in holiday rentals.
